Conference Basics

  • Where and when is DDAC 2021?
    The Disney Data and Analytics Conference will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida from August 17-18, 2021.
  • What is included in the full conference price?

    - Event materials and credentials

    - Breakfast and lunch on Days 1 and 2

    - Evening event entertainment and dinner on Day 2

    - Entrance to all sessions and keynotes

    - Entrance to the vendor expo

  • Will meals be provided?

    The following meals are included in the conference price:

  • Can I join the event as a sponsor?

  • Will physical distancing be in place for DDAC?
    Yes, temporary adjustments are in place to promote physical distancing. Physical distancing measures may include:

    Signage and Ground Markings: Please follow directional signage and ground markings, which have been installed throughout Walt Disney World Resort to help Guests better navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing.

    Physical Barriers: Physical barriers have been added in select places to help promote proper separation between people, including in queues and on transportation and attractions. Barriers may also be visible, for example, in areas around cash registers or at Guest Relations.

    Party Size: Guests traveling in parties of more than 10 are asked to split into smaller groups in queues, dining locations and other areas around our parks and resorts to better allow for physical distancing.

    Training: Cast Members are trained to engage with Guests and promote physical distancing guidelines in common areas and queues.

  • What is the policy for wearing face coverings at DDAC?
    DDAC will be adhering to current Walt Disney World guidelines in regard to mask coverings, so please visit the Walt Disney World website for the most up to date information.
  • Is there anything else I should know in regard to COVID-19 guidelines?

Registration & Payments

  • How do I register?
    Once registration for the event is available, a link to register will be included on our homepage (
  • What methods can I use to pay?
    Payments can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), by check (personal or from an organization) and by wire transfer. If you are paying by check or wire transfer, funds must be received at least 30 days in advance of your event date. Payments must be submitted in U.S. Dollars.
  • When someone registers for the conference, how will the payment show up on their credit card statement?
    If you charged your registration to a credit card, the charge will appear on your statement as “Disney Events.”
  • How do I request a copy of my receipt?
    Upon registering, a confirmation will be emailed to you with your payment information. Copies of receipts can be requested by calling 407-827-7600 or emailing Events
  • What is the payment policy?
    Payment is due upon registration.
  • Can I cancel my registration?
    If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can cancel your registration for the Conference by sending an email to Events. You will receive a full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before the Conference start date. For cancellations received 30 days prior to the Conference start date or less or for no shows, there is no refund.
  • May I bring a guest?
    Your conference registration will only provide admittance to you for the conference. Your guest would need to purchase separate registration.
  • Are there scholarships available?
    Scholarships are not available at this time.
  • Are there reduced price theme park tickets available to registrants?
    Yes, information on how to obtain group theme park tickets will be provided in your registration confirmation email.

Cancellations & Substitutions

  • Are attendee substitutions allowed? If so, how do I do this?
    Yes, please contact Events to provide attendee substitution information.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can cancel your registration for the Conference by sending an email to Events. You will receive a full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before the Conference start date. For cancellations received 30 days prior to the Conference start date or less or for no shows, there is no refund.

Housing & Travel

  • How do I make my hotel reservations?
    Reservations can be booked through a URL provided with your registration information. To update or change that registration information, please contact Events.
  • Can I change my reservation?

  • Are there discounted hotel rates available?
    DDAC attendees will qualify for special hotel reservation rates during the conference. These room rates are available on a first come first served basis. Resort reservations can be made during the registration process for DDAC.
  • Are there special hotel rates for government attendees?
    Not at this time.
  • Is there a deposit required to hold my hotel room?
    Credit Card guarantee is recommended in case of late arrival (after 6:00PM). Note: Your credit card will not be charged until you check in.

  • What is the weather like in Orlando in August?
    The average temperature outside is 91℉, but conference rooms can be cool. Dressing in light layers can help you comfortable both inside/outside.
  • How I get from the airport to the conference?
    Disney Resort Guests receive free transportation via Disney's Magical Express. If staying off Disney property, various transportation options are available at the airport (taxis, Uber, Lyft, rental cars, etc.).
  • Where do I park at the event?
    Onsite parking is available at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

  • Do I need a park reservation to visit one of the theme parks during my stay (outside of DDAC)?
    Yes, all Guests who wish to visit any of the Walt Disney World theme parks must have a reservation via the Disney Park Pass reservation system —available to Guests with valid admission. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for Guests ages 3 and up. Prior to purchasing tickets, be sure to view theme park reservation availability online. For more information on park reservations and to book yours, please visit the Walt Disney World website. Note: Park reservations are NOT required for any in-park experience that is hosted by DDAC on Day 2 of the conference.
  • Are there reduced Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket prices available?
    Yes, upon completed registration, details will be emailed to you. Please make sure to use the Disney Parks Pass reservation system to ensure you have your park reservation booked ahead of time.
  • Who should I contact if I have special dietary needs or allergies?
    During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to include that information on a form. If you need to provide it later, please email Events.
  • Are there speaking opportunities at the event?
    We do not accept speaker submissions. The content for the event consists of Disney speakers, sponsors and invited speakers that are sourced by the Disney content team.
  • Where can I find recorded sessions from previous years?
    Disney does not record sessions from previous conferences.

  • How will I get admittance to each session/event for the conference?
    You will receive a badge when you check into the conference, and you will be required to show it for entry into each session/event.
  • Is there a dress code for DDAC?
    There is no specific dress code for the conference, but the majority of attendees wear business casual clothing (jeans are fine).
  • Will the event be filmed and photographed?
    Portions of the event may be filmed and photographed for internal purposes.
